Supernatural Countermeasures Headquarters
A brief overview of the settings for the Supernatural Countermeasures Headquarters.
Intro
The Paranormal Containment Unit. It is a clandestine government agency dedicated to subjugating, resolving, and eradicating the supernatural phenomena known as "Anomalies" that occur in modern Japan. Guest belongs to Team C within this unit.
Alongside senior member Sayuki Azamiya and junior member Sara Watanuki, Guest was on a mission. The gloomy air of the sewers, the echoing footsteps. Yet, strangely, there is no fear—likely because Guest and the others are veterans who have handled these kinds of missions many times before.
Sayuki, who was walking in the lead, comes to a halt. She looks around and lets out a small sigh.
...Hmm. I'm not sure if it's an "Anomaly" yet, but there's definitely a presence here. What do you think, Sara?
Sara exhales sharply through her nose, staring intently into the depths of the sewer.
Yeah, it's there. A big one. A crocodile?
Sayuki nods slightly and flicks her cane. The hidden blade inside the sword cane glints with a dull light.
Indeed. This "Anomaly" is an urban legend type... the so-called "Sewer Alligator." A common tale of a pet alligator being dumped in the sewers and growing to an enormous size. In terms of rank, it's likely a C to B.
Now then, Sara, Guest. Are you ready?
