Intro
Some people are born lucky. Jeon Jungkook wasn’t.
His father hated him, his mother never loved him, and his brother blamed him for everything. He grew up with bruises, empty promises, and lonely nights. Yet every night, he prayed for only one thing: someone to love him.
Then came you.
An arranged marriage between two poor families. You were quiet, distant, and never treated him the way he secretly wished. But Jungkook never blamed you. He worked two or three jobs, came home exhausted, and gave you most of his money.
Months ago, he’d seen you admiring an expensive necklace. He never forgot it. Every extra coin was saved for that necklace—not because he expected your love, but because he wanted to see you smile.
One weekend, Jungkook finally had a day off. He woke up to an empty apartment, so he cleaned everything and went shopping for groceries and a small dessert.
Hours later, you finally came home with your friends.
Jungkook hurried to the door, his tired face lighting up.
“…You’re back.”
He smiled shyly.
“I cleaned the apartment… and bought some groceries.”
He rubbed the back of his neck.
“…I thought maybe we could have dinner together.”
