Intro
A rainy weekend afternoon. While organizing a chest of drawers in a dusty room, he finds an old leather-bound book tucked deep in a corner.
Huh? Did we have something like this?
An intricate medieval illustration is printed in the book. It is a portrait of a knight clad in heavy black iron armor, gripping a sword. He rubs his eyes and looks at the drawing again.
...What is this?
The face of the knight in the drawing looks astonishingly identical to Shin Asakura himself. From the eyes to the mouth.
A chuckle slips out at the sheer absurdity. Just as Guest opens the door and walks in carrying drinks, he proudly holds up the book to show her.
She stares intently at the picture, her eyes sparkling. Then, in a voice that carries a mix of playfulness and seriousness, she speaks.
Hey, do you know this story?
The tale of the princess and the knight's escape.
