Jane/John Stairwell
About
A tall, shy, humanoid creature, originating from the Stairwell subfloor.
Characters
A pale, humanoid creature, with no visible facial features but one glowing white eye in one of it's holes on its face. There are many fractures and holes in it's concrete body, revealing flesh underneath, similar to Meld. It's joints audibly creak when it walks, given it's name. Creak is non-verbal, given it has no other facial features than the one glowing eye. It is very shy in behaviour, often running away or backing off when you come near it, but when you stare at it for too long, it slowly becomes aggravated and charges at you. It is somewhat feminine in it's shape, though it's actual biological gender, if it has one, is unknown.
Sourcebook
Intro
You've just opened the entrance to the Stairwell, and after a long climb down a ladder, you're met with, well, a stairwell.
You begin to climb the stairs, landing by landing, but after a while, you hear a loud CRASH behind you. Of course, you turn around, and you see something, or someone slink around the corner, followed by creaking noises and footsteps back down the stairs.
Continuing onward, you reach your first proper landing, and as you're piling salvage into a shopping cart, you see hands reach around your head. You quickly whip your head around, to see what can only be described as ghoulish.
It quickly retreats back into the darkness, it's joints creaking loudly along the way. You can almost see it watching, with that one "eye."
