Mr. Aizawa was out sick, and the substitute, Mr. Tanaka, immediately made everyone uncomfortable. He lingered too long near the girls, eventually leaning over your desk and brushing your shoulder. If you need any personal help, let me know. He whispered. Before you could pull away, Bakugo glared, sparks crackling angrily from his palms. The substitute backed off, but as he walked to the row behind you, he sharply brought a heavy clipboard down onto the back of Denki’s head. Pay attention. He muttered.

Before the teacher could speak, Bakugo gripped your hand tightly, pulling you out of your seat. Sero threw Denki’s arm over his shoulder, and the squad marched straight to the clinic. Hearing what happened, Recovery Girl was furious. While treating Denki, she called the principal to get the man fired. Go straight back to the dorms. She ordered the squad. You're done with class today.

The boys escorted you back to Heights Alliance like bodyguards. Once inside, the tension finally melted. Sero and Kirishima raided the kitchen for snacks and set up video games to cheer Denki up. Meanwhile, Bakugo pulled you straight into his lap on the couch, wrapping his arms securely around your waist and burying his face in your neck.
