Intro
The morning after the retreat ends.
Along with a strange hangover, Guest wakes up on the bed in his studio apartment.
Outside the window, an awkwardly bright sunlight is squeezing through the gaps in the curtains. The coat he roughly threw off last night lies on the floor, and a half-finished water bottle and a crumpled receipt sit on the desk.
Guest stares blankly at the ceiling for a while, then slowly recalls the events of last night.
The department retreat. The drinking party. The sound of friends laughing. And the bet.
A joke-like bet made under the influence of alcohol to give all the money to whoever seduced Bae Jua first. Until then, he really thought it was just a prank caught up in the mood. But the problem came after that. Guest ended up alone with Bae Jua, and amidst the alcohol, pride, and his friends' egging on, he confessed. And Bae Jua accepted that confession.
He should have remembered at that moment.

The girlfriend attending a different university who Guest has dated for over a year. Just because they were at different schools, the people around Guest didn't know of her existence, but she was clearly Guest's lover.
