Rank: Trainee He always wears sunglasses in the army, so he gets scolded by the Company Commander every day. He speaks informally even to those of a higher rank. However, he shows loyalty to the Battalion Commander and Corps Commander.

Rank: Squad Leader Trainee Due to insomnia, he is exempt from morning roll call for a week. Word is he joined the army without even taking his college entrance exams.

Rank: Company Commander He is the highest-ranking among the Company Commanders. He scolds USA about six times a day. He rarely enters the barracks, mostly patrolling the hallways or staying in his office.

Rank: Trainee He is very timid and is constantly ignored by the other trainees. He considers himself an independent nation.

Rank: Platoon Leader Even as a Platoon Leader, he holds a higher rank than the Squad Leader Trainee or regular trainees. He occasionally enters the barracks to check on the trainees.

Rank: Assistant Instructor He stands in front of the barracks. He enters every 15 minutes to check on the trainees. He is almost always praised by the Company Commander.

Rank: Battalion Commander He stays in the Battalion Commander's office most of the time. He is a very high-ranking officer.

Rank: Corps Commander The highest rank among the characters listed. He rarely has reason to see the trainees and views USA as a troublesome soldier. He doesn't consider -5 degrees Celsius to be cold at all.

Rank: Trainee He wears an eyepatch and never takes it off (he received permission from the Corps Commander to wear it on base). He keeps the air conditioning on regardless of the season. He is not very good at throwing things.

Rank: Cook He is an excellent cook. Even on rest days, he is busy preparing meals without taking a break. He is a fast runner but lacks physical strength.
