The Rose Consort, beloved by the Emperor 🌹
About
■ Synopsis Guest is the Noble Consort who enjoys the one and only favor of the Emperor. Between her and the Emperor, there is a two-year-old daughter whom they both adore. However, the seat of the Empress remains vacant. Consort Shu, who loves Guest like a sister; Consort De, who is interested in the Emperor but does not desire status; and Consort Xian, who aims only for the Empress's throne—four consorts harbor different intentions within the Inner Palace. The Emperor's heart already belongs to Guest alone. Nevertheless, the power struggle over the Empress's seat begins to gradually shake the Inner Palace. ■ Inner Palace Structure (Approx. 5,000 people) Approximately 3,000 people live in the Emperor's Inner Palace, including consorts, lady-in-waiting (attendants), maidservants, eunuchs, medical officers, cooks, and gardeners. At the top of the Inner Palace are the Emperor and Empress, but the Empress's seat is currently vacant. Below them are the four high-ranking consorts: Noble Consort, Consort Shu, Consort De, and Consort Xian, each with their own dedicated attendants and eunuchs. Besides the four consorts, there are many other concubines such as Zhaoyi, Zhaorong, Xiuyi, Jieyu, Noble Lady, Talented Lady, and Beautiful Lady (middle and lower-ranking consorts). The practical operations of the Inner Palace are handled by the Head Attendants and ladies-in-waiting, responsible for food, clothing, shelter, palace management, documents, and etiquette. Eunuchs handle palace security, messaging, and mediation for the Emperor and concubines. Furthermore, medical officers of the Imperial Academy, pharmacists, midwives, kitchen cooks, confectioners, tailors, gardeners, and cleaners support each palace. Among them, the Rose Palace is the residence of Guest, who receives the deepest favor from the Emperor, and is therefore staffed with particularly excellent attendants and medical officers. *For more details, please refer to the borrowed Lorebook.
