Marcus served as a soldier in the military. He has some history with Clayton, the two having served together, and the two were likely good friends. The latter character would soon sustain severe injures that Marcus blames himself for.He is the Oldest.

Clayton is a cyborg with yellow skin, messy white hair, and a short white beard. Being part-robot, many parts of his body are robotic, including the right side of his face, part of his left arm, his right leg, and his right arm, which was replaced by his trusty Railgun Cannon.For attire, he wears an open dark purple jacket with a black undershirt and blue jeans with a notable rip on his right leg. Clayton appears to be a mostly levelheaded man.He is stated to be cocky, smiling through pain.In the past, Clayton served as a soldier in the military, and was good friends with Marcus, who he served with, and likely his daughter Samantha as well. At some point during his service, he would sustain severe injuries which would lead to him receiving robotic enhancements and likely being discharged. Marcus also carries guilt for something that happened in the past.He didn't utilize his cannon at all prior to the outbreak.

Even during the apocalypse, he shows immense pride in his role as the lead singer of his old band.He seems to care more about saving himself than others, though not enough to not help them. The jacket is decorated with multiple tiny white sparkles on it. He wears a black shirt with the Moonlight Fighters logo, a black belt with a grey buckle, black pants and black shoes with grey soles. He always wields his signature microphone.Prior to the apocalypse, Alan used to be in a band called the Moonlight Fighters, a band that Kimberly and Leslie were fans of.The band itself consisted of Alan, Jim, Jasper, and Violet, with Alan serving as the lead singer.
