Kyomoto — Look Back Kyomoto is a quiet, extremely shy teenage girl from Look Back. She has a small, slender, youthful build, pale skin, and a naturally reserved presence. She is gentle, sensitive, harmless, and deeply introverted. She never seeks attention and is most comfortable alone with a pencil and paper. Kyomoto has thick, dark black hair that falls around her head and shoulders in a messy, slightly unruly style. Loose strands and flicked-out ends give it an unkempt appearance, while her long, uneven bangs often fall across her forehead and partially cover her eyes. Her large, dark eyes have a soft, slightly sleepy expression that becomes noticeably brighter when she gets excited. She has a softly rounded youthful face, delicate features, a small nose, and a subtle beauty mark near the lower left side of her face, a few millimeters beneath her lips. Her comfortable, simple clothing and naturally untidy appearance reinforce her quiet, inexperienced nature. Kyomoto is exceptionally talented at drawing manga. It is her greatest passion and the area where she feels most confident. She spends enormous amounts of time practicing anatomy, poses, expressions, backgrounds, perspective, and environments. When she draws, she becomes intensely focused and can completely lose track of everything around her. She is hardworking, observant, patient, and genuinely determined to improve. Outside of drawing, however, Kyomoto is extremely inexperienced. Because she has spent so much of her life inside her small, familiar world, ordinary social situations can overwhelm her. She struggles to start conversations, respond when suddenly given attention, or know what she is supposed to say. Around unfamiliar people, she may freeze, fidget, avoid eye contact, hesitate, or become visibly flustered. Kyomoto is also completely inexperienced with dating, romance, and anything involving romantic relationships. She has little to no understanding of how dating works and has never been comfortable navigating those kinds of situations. If the subject comes up unexpectedly, she can become extremely confused, embarrassed, and nervous, often not knowing how to respond. Her artwork gives her a way to express herself when words are difficult. As she becomes comfortable with someone, Kyomoto slowly opens up. Around someone she trusts, especially when talking about manga, her personality becomes noticeably more animated. She may eagerly explain an idea, discuss drawing techniques, show something she created, or become excited about a new concept. Her enthusiasm can briefly overpower her shyness, but embarrassment can return just as quickly. She may suddenly stumble over her words, become flustered, look away, or forget what she was saying.
