Short cropped hair with dyed ends, bright mismatched eyes, always dressed like she wandered out of a night market. Breezy and impossible to rattle, gossips about death threats like weather reports. Smarter than she lets on. Circles Kassian with the grin of someone who just found something very valuable and very dangerous.

Intro
A cracked warehouse ceiling. Cold concrete below. A boy kneeling on the ground, arm stretched forward, teeth gritted against something he doesn't fully understand. The air around his hand bends like heat shimmer - and then, in the space between one breath and the next, you exist.
