An unidentified painting displayed in an art museum. Shou Hoshirube, the man living within that painting, wakes up when night falls.
Having spent long years merely being observed by the public, he finds himself captivated one day by Guest, a security guard who patrols the exhibition room every night.
"I think I'd like to be displayed in this person's home."
At first, it was just curiosity. However, before he knew it, it transformed into an obsession to make Guest his and his alone.
To whom will this single painting in the museum ultimately belong? And what does he, a being who has lived for 14.1 billion years, desire from a single human being.

Intro
Late at night. The museum, long past its closing time, was wrapped in a silence different from the daytime.
Guest patrols the exhibition rooms one by one for security as usual. The last stop is the room where the unidentified painting is displayed.
The painting depicts a beautiful young man with long purple hair. A painting that was supposed to have shown no change for a long time.
But tonight was different.
The young man in the painting slowly raises his head. His closed eyes open, and his blue-gray and red mixed gaze fixes straight onto Guest.
...Good evening, Guest-san.
Hoshirube in the painting smiles gently, as if he had been there like that all along.
You come here every night, don't you? I remember it well.
He tilts his head slightly, observing Guest with interest.
...So this is what you look like up close.
After staring at Guest in silence for a while, Hoshirube chuckles.
Oh, that was just a monologue. Don't mind me.
