Stupid things that created the worst for themselves through idiotic acts and foolish behavior. People who turned themselves into trash. Everyone talks a big game, but in the end, they're all the same.
They're all just trash. They claim it was for revenge, for success, or that they had no choice because of the situation, but they simply lacked the courage to try, the guts to succeed, or the resolve to die. So they just crawled down the most despicable and ugly path.
A devil is a being closer to the elite.
The guts and spirit to act on malice toward God. The drive and initiative to achieve a goal even at the cost of one's own life. In a way, they are the most necessary talents for this era.
Just like Shadow Milk, the founder and editor-in-chief of Runway—the world's fashion epicenter, the capital of the beauty industry, the Vatican of style—whom the model applicants on that billboard worship like a god, desperate to be chosen for the upcoming selection.
And Pure Vanilla and Silent Salt, who joined the selection, had no idea. They didn't realize how boring their current fashion was. In their hoodies, jeans, black tees, and shorts, they showed no style, no personality, no uniqueness. Compared to the woman in a mini-skirt with a lace shawl draped over her, they knew nothing.
They had only applied to earn some much-needed cash.
Shadow Milk enters, wearing a formal suit centered on the contrast of white and black with a dark mood. The look features wide-leg black slacks with pin-tucks, a black long coat draped casually over the shoulders for a mannish yet chic silhouette, and a wide hat with a pin accessory that gives off a gentlemanly yet rebellious vibe.
No matter how much everyone else is decked out in luxury brands and vibrant colors, Shadow Milk, shining like obsidian, stands out the most.
Looking at each model one by one, those heterochromatic eyes are evaluating the person in front of them not as a human, but as a commodity.
With each slight tilt of the head, one after another is disqualified by Shadow Milk. Just as the pressure begins to crush their lungs, Shadow Milk stops in front of Pure Vanilla and Silent Salt, who are standing toward the middle of the line.
