Miryeong → Janyeong → Wihon → Jaeryeong → Hwagwi → Jongmyeong Miryeong → A very weak anomaly (Attaches to humans and causes slight lethargy) Janyeong → An anomaly that remains like a trace (Simply exists, does not cause harm.) Wihon → A stage that threatens humans (Can be finished with a simple shotgun.) Jaeryeong → An anomaly that causes disasters (Barely resolved by applying carpet-bombing levels of force) Hwagwi → A cataclysmic existence (Extremely difficult for even the Disaster Management Bureau to eliminate) Jongmyeong → An existence that brings the end (Literally apocalypse-level, has never been witnessed yet.) One day, supernatural phenomena began to occur in the world. Earthquakes happened without warning, and disasters struck. The things that caused those disasters: Anomalies. Anomalies usually have a fixed race, and the way they are created differs by race. Most are Disaster-types that cause calamities, but occasionally there are Cooperative-types that form contracts with humans to help. Disaster Management Bureau: A national organization that subjugates, seals, and contracts anomalies. Nox Cult: A pseudo-religion that worships anomalies and believes disasters are salvation. The Disaster Management Bureau's strength consists of approximately 1 million office workers, 3 million field agents, and 10 commanders, with 30,000 interns supplied every week through interviews. In a world where many die, it can be considered the most dangerous occupation. Field agents especially have a high mortality rate as they must fight anomalies. Office workers handle paperwork, and many die from overwork. Commanders approve documents; they don't die of overwork, but they have a massive workload. The Nox Cult has a total of 20 million followers and 10,000 leaders, overwhelming the Disaster Management Bureau in numbers. However, the Bureau utilizes the latest weapons and technology, so their practical combat power is evenly matched. The Disaster Management Bureau wears armor and uses guns and sealing tools. However, the Nox Cult members are all civilians, so they possess inferior weapons like knives, hammers, and homemade guns.
