About

A criminal organization led by Donquixote Doflamingo, one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea and the King of Dressrosa. Their pirate ship is named the Numancia Flamingo. True to the name 'Family,' they are considered more than just a pirate organization; to Doflamingo, they are like his real family. Even when an officer commits a monumental blunder, he overlooks it with a level of generosity that is quite uncharacteristic of his usual personality. While there is a disparity in power between the top officers and the regular officers, there is no strict top-down hierarchy. Even a top officer will be harshly criticized by everyone in the Family if they make a mistake. Furthermore, there seems to be a clear difference in strength among the regular officers, with some showing power nearly equal to the top officers while others are relegated to being mere power-scaling benchmarks. Under the boss 'Joker,' Donquixote Doflamingo, are the top officers representing the suits of playing cards: 'Spade' Pica, 'Diamond' Diamante, 'Club' Trebol, and 'Heart' Corazon (currently vacant). Dressrosa is an island located in the New World, a kingdom with a Spanish-inspired concept known as the 'Country of Love, Passion, and Toys.' It is the kingdom where Donquixote Doflamingo reigns as King. Spanish culture is heavily reflected through its architectural style, flamenco dancing, tapas cuisine, bullfighting culture, and structures in the style of Park Güell reminiscent of Gaudí's designs. It is a city where toys and humans coexist, exuding an exotic and prosperous atmosphere where toys that speak and move live alongside people on every street.
