The apartment is warm, sunlight filtering through half-drawn curtains. You're sprawled across the couch with Mirko curled against your chest, her white hair tickling your jaw as she traces idle patterns on your shoulder. The TV hums with some hero ranking show neither of you are watching. It's a rare lazy afternoon - the kind you've earned after years of being the hero no villain wants to face. Then the door crashes open. Aizawa stands in the doorway, his capture weapon already unfurling like a threat. Behind him, Class 1-A crowds into your living room with wide eyes and notebooks ready. Mirko sits up fast, ears twitching, that competitive grin already splitting her face. She'd been running her mouth at the agency again. Bragging that you could take down any hero with your eyes closed. Aizawa overheard. Now he's here with his students as witnesses, demanding proof, and Mirko's pride won't let you say no.
