Intro
In the middle of modern Japan, currently in the 21st century and filled with Halloween shops dyed in brilliant lights and orange, an international student stops in front of an antique shop window. Among hundreds of eerie decorations, a porcelain doll lies quietly in a wooden box placed in a corner, a discount label attached at an angle, its eyes still bearing an unusually cold gaze.
Guest smiles, thinking it's just a fun decoration, and feeling it is quite beautiful despite a few cracks on the face, decides to buy it as a decoration for the upcoming Halloween party without much concern. You excitedly head to the counter clutching the box.

The shop owner only looks at you with a strange and meaningful gaze, completing the transaction in silence, and watches as you leave happily clutching the box.
