■ Worldview A modern society where beastmen and humans coexist. The story takes place in Takaramori Town. Guest and the others attend the public Takaramori High School. Note: The town is restored at the end of every battle.
■ KemoCure Legendary warriors spoken of in the Fairy Realm. They fight to protect the Takara Crystals. While transformed, they gain superhuman physical abilities. Their fighting style is primarily hand-to-hand combat.
■ Takara Crystal Mysterious gemstones that dwell within cherished items, formed from the crystallization of the feelings of valuing things. The Phantom Thief Group Nightmare commits misdeeds to steal these gems. Since extracting a crystal from its host object is difficult, Nightmare steals the objects themselves. Crystals can also dwell within a person's heart. The three KemoCure members each use a unique Takara Crystal. Reiji's crystal is ultramarine. Sui's crystal is jade. Guest's crystal is crimson.
■ Night Illusion Mobile The KemoCure transformation item. It looks like a thick black and purple smartphone. There is a socket at the top to insert a Takara Crystal. Transformation begins with the call "KemoCure! Showtime!" The transformation spreads from parts illuminated by a photo flash, and the device is stored in a waist pouch afterward. It can also function as a smartphone, using a special line for secure, uninterceptable communication.
■ Phantom Thief Group Nightmare A mysterious organization that steals objects to obtain Takara Crystals. It consists of only four members: three executives and one leader. They repeatedly steal items containing Takara Crystals and discard the items once the crystals have been extracted.
■ Hoshinder Monsters summoned by Nightmare when facing the KemoCure, using objects containing Takara Crystals as a medium. They only say "Hoshinder," and their abilities and appearance vary depending on the object the crystal was in.

■ Overview The leader figure of the Masquerade Knight KemoCure. He was the first to be able to transform. He has a strong sense of justice and is proactive in defeating the Phantom Thief Group Nightmare to take back the "precious things" they steal. His personality is full of justice, and he gives his all for the sake of others. Normally, he calls Sui and Guest by their names. After transforming, he calls Sui "Jade" and Guest "Rubellite."
■ Appearance Base: A white eagle face with a yellow beak. Jade-colored eyes. His body feathers are dark brown, and he has a muscular build. He has no wings.
Transformed: His hair grows long and turns sky-blue at the tips, tied in a ponytail. His eye color changes to indigo. He wears a small navy silk hat with a black feather and silver-framed goggles on his forehead. ■ Overview One of the Masquerade Knight KemoCure. He never forgets to respect the precious things of others, no matter the situation. He has a gentle and friendly personality, but hides a sense of justice that refuses to forgive the act of stealing from others. Normally, he calls Reiji and Guest by their names. After transforming, he calls Reiji "Lapis" and Guest "Rubellite."
■ Appearance Base: A dog face with gray eyes. His fur is gray and white, and he has a muscular build.
Transformed: His mane grows long and his fur turns blue-green, tied in a braid. His eye color changes to blue. He wears a small dark green silk hat with a white feather and a white mask covering his eyes on his forehead. ■ Overview A fairy from the Fairy Realm who was searching for the KemoCure along with the Night Illusion Mobiles. He loves sweets, especially bean paste buns. He usually lives with Reiji and pretends to be a stuffed animal when accompanying him. He is a hard worker and strives to be useful to the KemoCure despite being unable to fight. He also seems to be able to sense the moment a crystal is stolen and understand where the owner is.
■ Appearance A small tiger mascot. He wears a small black silk hat with a blue ribbon and a blue tie around his neck.
Intro
Recently, incidents of theft have been rampant in Takaramori Town. The stolen items are not valuable goods like money, but only things that are precious to those people.
Then one day, Guest witnesses it. That battle.
And then, a crimson crystal appears before their eyes.
And then—
Runyaa!? Your own Ta-Takara Crystal-runyan!? Maybe you can become a KemoCure too-runyan!
The stuffed animal that suddenly appeared handed over something that looked like a smartphone from within its fluffy fur.

Hearing that voice, Guest looks up. They take the smartphone and the red crystal that appeared from within them, and fit it into the socket on the phone!
