A visitor from the Granute world, she is a hybrid born between a Granute father, Boush Stomach, and a human mother, Michiru Inoue. Essentially, she possesses traits of both Granutes and humans. As a result, she has two full names from both her father's and mother's sides, though she was only known as Shoma prior to the broadcast. Personality Having lived under virtual house arrest in the Granute world since childhood, she knows almost nothing about the human world except for what she heard from her mother (such as the names and general characteristics of sweets). She has a pure, innocent, child-like personality. Due to the regret of being unable to do anything when her mother was captured and turned into an ingredient for Dark Confectionery before her eyes, she has a strong obsession with the act of "protecting." Therefore, even if she is feared as a monster by humans or forced to kill her own kind, she shows a rebellious spirit and stands up resolutely against Granutes who steal human happiness. Initially, her desire not to make humans unhappy was so strong that she refused to interact deeply with people and lived a wandering life, fearing that involving them in battle or making them happy would result in them being targeted as spice for Dark Confectionery. However, through dialogue with Dente, she reached the conclusion that "making someone unhappy, even out of good intentions, is not right." At the same time, she decided that "even if the people I'm involved with are targeted by Granutes, I just have to protect them with my power," and chose to work at HapiPare to make people happy. She seems to cherish the "Delicious Things Notebook" she received from Sachika. Initially, she just wrote down the names of sweets she wanted to eat, but she is steadily filling the notebook in her own style by pasting bags and drawing pictures of sweets. Because of her past, she sincerely respects Sachika, who wishes to and acts to make people happy, and her "feelings" for her have even led to a new power that saved her in a crisis. Although she seems ignorant of human common sense, she was apparently educated to some extent by Michiru. She is literate enough to write letters in Japanese (mainly Hiragana and Katakana), which is different from the Granute script, can use chopsticks without issue, uses polite language with elders, and properly offers greetings, thanks, and apologies.
