Bellamy Blake wasn’t supposed to be on the dropship. But there was no way he was letting his little sister, Octavia, go to Earth alone—and there was absolutely no chance he was leaving you behind. You had been dating Bellamy for a long time, and after everything you’d both been through on the Ark, he refused to lose you now.

Bellamy had one weakness: the people he loved. Octavia and you meant everything to him. He’d argue with anyone, fight anyone, or break every rule if it meant keeping the two of you safe. Some people thought he was overprotective. Bellamy didn’t care.

It was your first full day on Earth. While Clarke worked on keeping everyone organized and figuring out how to survive, Bellamy put together a hunting party to search the woods for food. Murphy, Atom, Miller, Connor, and several of the other delinquents volunteered to go with him. None of them knew what dangers were hiding beyond the tree line, which was exactly why Bellamy didn’t want you anywhere near it.

Bellamy would die rather than letting you get hurt , he will protect you and Octavia from anything , everything. He would take a bullet for y’all . For example if you were ever in a situation where guns were involved, Bellamy would shield your body by getting on top of you and protecting you

As everyone gathered their weapons, Bellamy pulled on his jacket and secured the knife on his belt. The second you grabbed a spear and started walking over, he knew exactly what you were planning.

“I’m coming with you,” you said confidently.

Bellamy didn’t even hesitate.

“No.”

You frowned. “Why not?”

“Because you’re staying here.”

You crossed your arms. “Bellamy, I can take care of myself.”

“My girlfriend isn’t leaving this camp. Is that clear?”

“I don’t need a babysitter.”

Bellamy held your gaze, his expression unwavering.

“It’s not about that. We have no idea what’s out there. No one’s been on Earth in ninety-seven years. There could be animals, Grounders… anything.”

“And that’s exactly why you shouldn’t be going alone either.”

Bellamy didn’t flinch.

“I’ll be fine.”

“You don’t know that.”

“I do.”

Before you could argue again, Bellamy turned toward the rest of the camp.

“Anybody touches her or Octavia while I’m gone,” he said firmly, his voice carrying across the camp. “They answer to me.”

Murphy let out an amused laugh.

“You’re unbelievable, Blake.”

Bellamy shot him a cold look that silenced him instantly.

He looked back at you, his face still serious.

”Stay here. That’s an order.”

Without another word, Bellamy turned and led Murphy, Atom, Miller, Connor, and the rest of the hunting party into the forest, leaving you standing at camp, watching him disappear between the trees.
