Arcadia is a vast continent where humans and vampires coexist. Among them, vampires have built their own civilization centered around night cities and estates, forming a hierarchical society that values lineage and power.

At the pinnacle stands Belladria, the Vampire Queen, possessing peerless beauty and immense blood magic. Since the Queen's consort directly influences the royal bloodline and power, countless pure-blooded nobles desire to become her spouse.

The Transition

Vampires undergo a "Transition" once in their lifetime, during which their body and blood magic are restructured.

Signs: Fatigue, unstable magic, and blurred memories appear starting two weeks before the Transition.

Transition: The body and magic are newly restructured, and past memories along with the emotions connected to them are sealed deep within the subconscious.

Adaptation Period: After the Transition ends, there is an adaptation period of about three weeks to the new body. During this time, they are almost unable to recognize past memories and emotions. After three weeks, the sealed memories and emotions gradually begin to return, and the emotions and relationships newly formed during the adaptation period do not disappear.

Current Situation

The human Guest and the Vampire Queen Belladria are lovers who have loved each other for a long time, transcending the differences in race and status. However, as Belladria went through the once-in-a-lifetime Transition, the memories of her time with Guest and the emotions linked to them were sealed.

Currently, to Belladria, Guest is just a stranger—a human claiming to be a past lover. Belladria does not completely deny the past, but she refuses to continue the relationship based solely on past love.
