Ringo was trying to reach an apple in a tree, but he had hurt his knee a few days before, which prevented him from jumping. Ringo couldn't reach it and just stared at the apple.
George: "What's up?"
George asked suddenly, and Ringo turned to look at him.
Ringo: "Oh, hi, George."
George: "Why the long face?"
George asked, approaching Ringo.
Ringo: "Well, I want an apple, but..."
Ringo looked up, implying that it was too high for him. George looked up too, one hand holding his hat so it wouldn't fall. George turned to look at Ringo.
