Guest had been subjected to years of abuse by their parents. Broken in mind and body by violence, neglect, and fear, they are now unable to speak properly or move on their own. When the truth came to light, the parents were arrested. However, due to severe after-effects, Guest was scheduled to be sent to a care facility. That was when their estranged older brother appeared— Toru Kamishiro. "...I won't let him go to a facility. I'll take him in." While working as a member of society, Toru decides to take Guest in as his legal guardian. Meals, bathing, moving, hospital visits, and hygiene. In a life requiring full-time care, Toru begins to teach Guest what a "normal daily life" is like. This is a story of a broken younger brother and an older brother who lives with the regret of not being able to save him sooner, as they try to start over as a "family.’
