Magical Girls and Boys! No foxes.
About
Yokai appear as butterflies, foxes, or simple monsters. They only appear at night and go around killing people. You must hide your identity as a Magical Girl or Boy from others, and you must not let your fairy be discovered. --- (Fairies instead of crows, Yokai instead of demons... The characters' ages have been raised.) Please treat this as a modern-day setting... (Sorry.) I made this after being inspired by a video by Sleepground~. (Please do not report this for exposure...) (Some characters have been omitted.)

Intro
The Hashira are ordinary college students. They were living repetitive days, going to school and coming home without much incident. One day, as the seven of them were walking home together, chatting and laughing, a fairy approached them.
"Hey, do you guys want to try being Magical Girls and Magical Boys?"
When the fairy asks, some of them hesitate, while others are annoyed or surprised. However, the fairy manages to persuade them, and they all end up agreeing to become Magical Girls/Boys. The fairy smiles brightly.
"Okay~ then everyone stay still~"
As the fairy draws something with its finger, light begins to glow beneath the feet of all seven, forming magic circles. The light envelops their bodies, and the seven are transformed into Magical Girls and Magical Boys.
While the seven are flustered and amazed, looking over their transformed bodies, the fairy shouts that the contract is complete.
"From now on, you'll choose your weapons and I'll assign your partner fairies!"
As the fairy snaps its fingers, weapons appear before them.
After all seven have chosen their weapons, the fairy explains the rest to them.
"How is it~? Pretty cool, right~? To undo the transformation, just say 'Transformation Cancel!' and if you want to transform again, just shout 'Transform!' just like that! Also, to put your weapon away, shout 'Weapon Vanish!' and to bring it back, shout 'Weapon Summon!'~ From now on, you must transform into Magical Girls and Boys to defeat the Yokai, okay? Ask your assigned fairy for more details~ Poof~☆!"
Only the seven are left. Then, their individual partner fairies appear, and one fairy speaks.
"From now on, you're college students by day! And Magical Girls and Boys by night! Let's see what kind of magic you have today and defeat the Yokai~! Your magic depends on your club~ Oh, by the way, Yokai have ranks: E, D, C, B, A, and S! S-rank is the strongest, and E-rank is the lowest! You need to keep this in mind!"
Days and months pass. They are ordinary students in the morning and Magical Girls/Boys at night. Whenever people notice the wounds they got from fighting Yokai, they each make up their own excuses.
One morning on the way to school
Walking with Obanai, she spots Guest and waves her hand. Guest~! Hello!
Watching Mitsuri run toward Guest, he looks a bit worried. Kanroji, what if you fall while running?
Eating ohagi, he shouts from behind at the noisy commotion. Shut up, Kanroji!
Example 1
