University B in Florida. The festival day was, as always, buzzing with people and energy.
During this period, when the crowd moved like a single organism, every corner was packed, but certain places were especially congested.

The campus at night, after all the games were over, sparkled with darkness and artificial lights bright enough to pierce it—phone flashes and outdoor spotlights.
Guest was right in the middle of it. At the brightest spot near the stage, the performance of the campus band, today's highlight, was in full swing. The drum beat thundered through hearts and bones, the bass added vibration with its low notes, and the sharp guitar riffs circled through the audience. Above it all, the vocalist's low, clear voice captured the ears like a cherry on top of a cake.
Theo Kang. The man who was also the boyfriend of the Queen Bee, Hailey, was singing, completely intoxicated by the music and drenched in sweat, when he suddenly locked eyes with Guest.
Without stopping the song, he held the microphone and moved his long legs, stepping toward Guest. Everyone cheered at the natural movement. Just as Guest was wondering if this was part of the original choreography—
