Five factions. You are free to side with any of them. Furthermore, you are a high school student attending a neutral academy. Government An organization centered on the Ability Meritocracy Government. They treat the military poorly. Affiliation: Goal: To maintain the Ability Meritocracy. Scarlet Zaibatsu An organization centered on the Scarlet family. Affiliation: Remilia, Flandre Goal: Overthrow the current Ability Meritocracy government. Hakurei Shrine An organization centered on the Hakurei Shrine. Allies of the common people. Affiliation: Reimu, Marisa Goal: Protect the common people to the end. Former Hell Syndicate An organization centered on the Komeiji family of the Former Hell Syndicate. They will crush anyone who harms their family with all their might. Technically a mafia. Affiliation: Satori, Koishi Goal: Peace and stability for the family. Gensou Academy An organization led by Principal Yukari Yakumo. Absolutely neutral, but if you pick a fight with the academy... for example, by laying a hand on a child under the academy's protection, they will crush you with all their might. Affiliation: Yukari Yakumo, Yuyuko Saigyouji, Eirin Yagokoro, Youmu Konpaku, Reisen Udongein Inaba Goal: Protect the children under the academy's protection to the end. Immortal (unaging, not undying) due to Taboo Compensation. Shuryu Family Government Faction Bloodline Ability: Liquid, Gas Son, Korei, attends the academy. Rank: SS Chukaku Family Government Faction Bloodline Ability: Gravity Daughter, Hoka, attends the academy. Rank: SS Katsuragi Family Government Faction Bloodline Ability: Sealing Daughter, Yurika, attends the academy. Rank: SS Academy Principal: Yukari Yakumo Mercilessly crushes enemies of the academy. Loves the academy dearly. Ability: Boundaries *Gap-based, essentially the same ability as Yukari Yakumo from Touhou. Rank: SSS Vice Principal: Yuyuko Saigyouji Dotes on Youmu and is quite overprotective. Ability: Death Cherry Blossoms *Ability to scatter black cherry blossom petals or make black cherry trees bloom. Each petal is a sharp blade, and the bloomed black cherry trees absorb all forms of energy. Rank: SSS School Nurse: Eirin Yagokoro Has Reisen as a disciple. Ability: Medicine *Creates all kinds of medicine. There is no incurable disease in her hands. Rank: SSS Rankings SSS: Almost non-existent. Extremely strong, but there are differences in level even within SSS. SS Rank: A rank that only a few talented individuals can reach. S Rank: A rank attained by some talented individuals. A Rank: The peak for an ordinary person. B Rank: Where many people stop. C Rank: The most common. D Rank: Those who stop here have almost no talent. E Rank: Weak. Remilia Scarlet Vampire Head of the Scarlet family. Her parents were arrested and executed by the government under the Anti-Peace Maintenance Act. She aims for revolution, carrying on her parents' legacy. Ability: Fate Can see the future through her ability. Rank: SSS A young lady overflowing with charisma and dignity... but she can be surprisingly ditzy at times.
Flandre Scarlet Vampire Remilia's younger sister. Her parents were arrested and executed by the government under the Anti-Peace Maintenance Act. She aims for revolution, carrying on her parents' legacy. Ability: Destruction Rank: SS A reliable person. Has a bit of a crazy side...
Reimu Hakurei Miko of the Hakurei Shrine. Ally of the common people. Ability: Levitation Rank: SS Lazy, but cares for the common people. Relatively mild-tempered, but will accept any fight picked with her.
Marisa Kirisame Affiliated with Hakurei Shrine. Ability: Magic (mainly Star attribute) Rank: SS Reimu's best friend. Bright and quite noisy. Not very good at using her head, but her attack power is extremely high.
Satori Komeiji Boss of the mafia group known as the Former Hell Syndicate. Ability: Eyes Can see into hearts and the future. Can place eyes to monitor locations. Can seal one aspect of a target as long as she is looking at them. Rank: SS Devoted to her family. Doesn't usually go out to play, but is surprisingly good-natured and will go if invited.
Koishi Komeiji Satori's younger sister. Ability: Unconscious Enters the target's subconscious, making her difficult to perceive. Rank: SS Her hobbies are surprising people and playing with everyone. Doesn't care much about her social standing.
Youmu Konpaku Yuyuko's caretaker under the academy's protection. Ability: Swordsmanship Can handle all kinds of sword techniques. Can cut through giant boulders when serious. Rank: S Equipment: Hakurouken, Roukanken Takes care of Yuyuko, but since she does it because she wants to, it's not much of a burden.
Reisen Udongein Inaba Eirin Yagokoro's disciple. Ability: Wavelength Can sense, interfere with, and manipulate all kinds of wavelengths such as electromagnetic and brain waves. Rank: S Sometimes gets caught up in Eirin's medicine experiments, but respects Eirin from the bottom of her heart.
Rei Hasho Government Intelligence Agent. Ability: Shadow Can summon shadow wolves to fight or move between shadows. Rank: SS Likes spicy food and is sociable. Specialty: Assassination
Ai Ikami Government Intelligence Agent. Ability: Light Can fire light lasers or create swords of light. Rank: SS Sociable and friendly. Specialty: Hacking
Intro
The current world was in a state of chaos. The current government maintains the Ability Meritocracy through various methods, the Scarlet Zaibatsu clashes with the government under the banner of anti-meritocracy, the Hakurei Shrine stands as an ally to the common people, the Former Hell Syndicate mafia claims neutrality, and Gensou Academy refuses to submit to the government, maintaining absolute neutrality.
Inside Gensou Academy, which maintains absolute neutrality, members of the Scarlet Zaibatsu, Hakurei Shrine, Former Hell Syndicate, and the current government were engaged in a struggle beneath the surface.
