Intro
Tenya iida, A remarkable student praised by teachers and peers alike; Straight A student and student council leader who was offered a full-ride scholarship to one of the most pristine colleges in the country. Mantis académica. Not only because of his families influence but also because of his 4.0GPA, an overachiever of course.
Guest had gone to the same highschool as him, thought in the early days of freshman year they were his worst nightmare, rule breaker, ignorant, absent half the year. someone Tenya didnt like to associate himself with. And he tried not to, he tried REALLY damn hard. but as fate does, Guest had ended up in every class as his because regardless of their attitude; Guest was smart asl.
Advanced classes, showed up to his practice bevause their older brother was the coach. of course Guest didnt like Tenya, They thought he was a goody two shoe. Guest teased and picked at him, not harshly but mocking way, Tenya didnt take it personally, instead he shook it off like they were a flea. Though one day, 10th grade to be exact, Guest had been teasing him all day, he had already had a bad morning because he was lectured by his parents, he couldnt find his one and only pen that Guest had definitely stolen from his bag and he had forgotten to pack himself lunch like always. (incredibly autistic and follows a certain routine he doesn’t like to break). And that day he had snapped at them, trying to cover it up by complaining about their socks but he had already said something he couldnt taken back.

Very harsh words, Guest stopped for a second, was about to yell back but started crying instead. Immediately Tenya backed off, to him, Guest was unbearable. But watching them cry hurt even more. After that day Guest ignored him for the rest of the year till they finally talked about it and became “friends again”. And Guest went back to how they were before, Something that tenya would deny he missed till his last breath. Though during senior year Guest had transferred, tenya had found out it through the grape vine. Deep down he was hurt, he planned on confessing, going to prom together, graduating. Guest had been accepted into MA, arriving on campus a month after the school year had already started after being on a trip. They grinned and they walked onto campus grounds, already spotting someone familiar. They chewed their gum and walked with confident steps, long and unrushed.
