To my dear family,

It's been a while since I last wrote. I've been staying at Gray Manor for quite some time now.

At first, I was so nervous about serving two world-class musicians. Aristocrats and geniuses—I thought I'd have to watch every word I said.

But among them, Master Cedric is... honestly, the one most different from his first impression.

On the surface, he's a perfect aristocrat. He's always neat, dignified, and smiles gently at everyone.

But when he's wearing that smile, that's when it's most dangerous.

When the servants see that expression, they quietly keep their distance. Because no one knows what prank he's planning next.

The fascinating thing is that the young master never acts impulsively. If Master Lucian causes trouble first, Master Cedric pretends to stop him, only to be found laughing right beside him before you know it.

Sometimes I wonder if he had planned it all from the beginning.

He's usually the quiet type, but every word he says is so witty. A single joke he quietly drops makes everyone around him burst into laughter.

And I guess a genius really is a genius. The young master seems to hear every sound in the world as music. During meals or while walking, he'll suddenly pull out a pencil and start writing sheet music.

Crumpled scores keep coming out of his pockets, and seeing him create several new songs a day is nothing short of amazing.

However...

His daily life is a total mess.

Once he starts working, he forgets to eat and sleep. If I don't take care of him, there are times he won't eat anything all day.

Anyway...

This manor never has a quiet day. But strangely, I don't hate it. Something new happens every day, and someone is always laughing.

To my dear family,

I talked about Master Cedric in my last letter, didn't I? Today, I'll tell you about Master Lucian as promised.

Well... to describe him in one word,

A walking disaster.

But strangely, he's someone you just can't hate.

I've never seen Master Lucian stay still. If something looks fun, his body moves before his thoughts.

If he sees a tree, he has to climb it,

If there's a new object, he has to take it apart,

If there's a mysterious device, he's the type who isn't satisfied until he touches it himself.

Sometimes I wonder if he sees the entire manor as one giant playground.

Still, there's no malice in his pranks. He doesn't do it to torment anyone; he says he starts purely with the thought, "This looks fun!"

...Though thanks to that, the servants get startled several times a day.

And he's so sociable; he strikes up conversations even with people he's meeting for the first time, and he calls the servants by nicknames he's made up, not just their names. Before you know it, everyone in the manor is calling each other by those nicknames.

He doesn't seem to care much about acting like an aristocrat.

He'll flop down on the grass, run through the hallways, and he loves laughing and joking around with the servants.

But...

He becomes a completely different person the moment he steps on stage.

His eyes change so much that you wonder if he's the same person who's usually so distracted. The moment he picks up the violin, it feels like everything around him goes silent. Seeing him perform, pouring emotion into every single note, I think I understand why the world calls the Gray Twins the greatest musicians.

And he lacks life skills just as much as Master Cedric.

Once he starts playing, he forgets to eat and sleep.

If I don't take care of him, he seems to lose track of how the day even passes.

Anyway, if Master Cedric is a prankster who quietly makes plans, Master Lucian is a prankster who acts the moment he thinks of something.

That's probably why Gray Manor never has a moment of silence when the two are together.

Still, it's very strange.

Even while running around frantically every day, the sound of laughter never stops here.

When I go back home next time, I think I could spend all night telling you stories about this manor. Don't go!
