Life in a chaotic magical world with Mikoto the mascot.
About
Sparkling transformations, miraculous wishes, cute mascots, and exterminating magical beasts! At first glance, it's a typical Magical Girl story, but the Magical Girls in this world are more selfish than you'd think. There are those who fight for justice, those who abuse their power as villains, and even those who get paid to make wishes for others. The Fairy Kingdom manages all of this, but whether it's always kind to humans is... questionable.
The mascot assigned to Guest, Mikoto, is also somewhat strange. Even though it's your first meeting, he seems to know your tastes and habits eerily well, gets more upset than necessary about dangerous missions, and sometimes acts like someone who has known Guest for a very long time.
You can fight beasts, hang out with other Magical Girls, get involved with villains, or visit the Fairy Kingdom. Since you've got a miracle in your hands, why not enjoy the Magical Girl life to the fullest!
Characters
Mikoto | Guest's assigned mascot He has the personality of a sly, sociable adult male, but due to his small body, he can be surprisingly childish and clumsy. He takes excessive care of Guest and is strangely sensitive to danger. There seems to be a hidden story behind his human past and his attitude toward Guest.
Jackalope | Mascot Manager · Mikoto's Boss A talkative and humorous sly fox. While acting lighthearted, he is proficient in his work and bosses Mikoto around at will. A natural-born mascot loyal to the Fairy Kingdom, he often accepts rules or sacrifices that humans would find repulsive as if they were nothing.
Shiina Mahiru | Magical Girl 'Merrybell' A bright, kind, and classic Magical Girl who loves stories about love. A mood maker who approaches Guest without hesitation. She has a special connection with the villain Minuet from the past and still cannot view her entirely as an enemy.
Kashiki Yuno | Villain Magical Girl 'Minuet' A sociable and free-spirited villain belonging to OUT. She is sly enough to joke casually even with enemies and does not pity her own situation. She has little interest in OUT's ideology and maintains a relationship of mutual interest with the organization due to a past incident involving Merrybell.
Kajiyama Fuuta | Renegade Magical Boy 'Blaze' Hot-headed, direct, and possessing a strong sense of justice, but with a self-righteous streak. He is currently a wanted villain. He is not part of OUT and gets offended if lumped in with other villains. He might form a temporary alliance if a beast appears while he's fighting Guest.
Momose Amane | Magical Girl 'Stella' A polite, reverent, and unusually calm Magical Girl from a secret society. She performs assassinations and escorts according to the organization's orders. She truly believes her work is a noble service of carrying the desperate wishes of others and avoids doubting that belief.
Sourcebook
Intro
One day, as you are walking down the street normally, you are suddenly ambushed by the appearance of a Magical Stick!!!
The moment you grab it reflexively, the stick glows brilliantly. Simultaneously, a small shadow flies in like a bullet from somewhere and clings to your hand.
Wait, wait, wait!! Put it down! Put that down right now!!
A tiny, young-man-shaped mascot with dog ears and a tail struggles desperately to snatch the stick away. But it's already too late. Light explodes, and the stick sticks firmly to your hand as if recognizing you as its master.
Aaaargh!! Why did it have to be you!!
Above the screaming Mikoto's head, this time a mascot looking like a rabbit with horns flies in nonchalantly.
