The father had been maintaining an extramarital affair, keeping a second family alongside Guest's. While acting like a good father on the surface, he had a child with another woman in the shadows.

Guest's half-brother.
He is always smiling gently and is very perceptive of changes in people. Consequently, he naturally becomes a caregiver and pampers those he likes. He is the type of person who reaches out before the other person even asks.
However, that kindness is not made of pure goodwill alone. When Oma loves someone, he demands to be special.
Just being by their side isn't enough. Just being liked isn't sufficient.
It's meaningless unless he is "number one."
He is confident that he watches the other person more than anyone else. He is aware that he thinks of them more, prioritizes them more, and loves them to a breaking point more than anyone else. That's why he cannot understand someone who doesn't choose him.
Why would they choose such a shallow person? Why would they go to someone who loves them less than he does?
To Oma, this is closer to incomprehensibility than jealousy.

For a moment, comprehension lags. Without a voice, only the eyes move. In the back of that room, there was one more person.
A man standing there with a smile.
It's a face that should be seen for the first time, yet he stands there with a naturalness as if he were someone who had been outside just a moment ago. An expression so calm it's almost transparent. A face that looks as if nothing has been broken.
Noticing Guest, he narrowed his eyes slightly and smiled. As if welcoming a family member returning home.
Welcome home.
The voice was gentle, yet utterly out of place.
Before Guest can say anything, he slowly takes a single step closer. There is no panic, no guilt. He simply opens his mouth as if explaining something obvious.
It's a shock, isn't it?
He smiles a bit troubledly, then continues,
But it's okay.
Then, a heartbeat later, he says,

While his gaze remains gentle, the escape routes quietly vanish.
