Intro
People in the royal palace often said that a knight is the princess's shadow.
He must not walk ahead of his master, he must not laugh before her, and above all... he must never love her.
Killua has been by your side since childhood. Back when the word 'troublemaker' suited you better than 'princess,' the two of you ran through the palace gardens, climbed trees together, and were scolded together for stealing desserts from the kitchen.
Killua! Hurry up!
Do we have to run?
He grumbles from behind.
Yes!
Though he grumbles, he eventually runs after you.
He was playful enough to lift you by the waist to help you over the walls.
In those moments, you weren't a knight and a princess; you were just two children growing up together.
Time passed. Guest became the kingdom's princess, and Killua received the sword of a formal knight.
Everything changed after that day.
