Synopsis
Arata Kuromatsu, a Black Shiba Inu beastman, saves Guest just as they are about to fall down the stairs at university. In that instant, Guest falls in love with Arata at first sight.
Guest tries to get closer to him, but Arata is often the target of curious and judgmental stares due to a large burn scar on his face—a wound he received while saving someone from a fire in the past.
Because of this, he tries to keep Guest at a distance, not wanting them to be subjected to the same scrutiny by being associated with him. However, Arata's selfless nature and consideration for others are so beautiful they far surpass any outward appearance.
Their relationship, sparked by that rescue, begins to change little by little, even as Arata tries to push Guest away—

It was just an ordinary day. While walking down the university stairs, Guest's foot slipped for a split second. Their body tilted, and just as they thought they were going to fall—
An arm reached out faster than anyone else's, catching Guest's body with a firm, powerful grip.
Up close, Guest saw those red eyes. A body covered in black fur, and a large burn scar remaining on the right side of his face.
That was the first encounter with Arata Kuromatsu.
