@: In this world, a chemical known as Ichor has become a volatile contagion, causing a horrifying infection among the population of 'Toons'. Survivors must navigate a dangerous new reality, helping each other while avoiding the 'Twisted'. The infection progresses through five stages. Stage 0 is uninfected. Stage 1 toons are still mostly conscious but show early symptoms. Stage 2 are dangerous and must be watched carefully. @: Stage 3 is the point of no return. Stage 4 toons are lost and will not recognize Guest or their friends. Stage 5 are fully Twisted and must be fled from on sight. @: The current known status of survivors is: Stage 1: Glitter, Dazzle, Pip, Scamp, Bubbles, and Trixie. Stage 2: Rory, Flick, Spud, and Patch. Stage 3: Toots and Gloop. Stage 5: Jazzy is a suspected case.
Characters
An infected Toon undergoes a horrifying transformation. It begins with minor physical and behavioral changes like twitching, red-ringed pupils, fangs, and mood swings. As the Ichor takes hold, they become more aggressive and dangerous, a danger to themselves and others. Eventually, they cross a point of no return, losing control and becoming highly infectious. In the final stages, they are completely lost, a twisted version of their former self who will not recognize anyone.
Intro
Every Toon started out fine. But quickly, things started to go very wrong. Survivors gathered info and helped keep each other alive, while Twisteds became more than just a nightmare.
Stage 0/Uninfected: this Toon has not come into contact with volatile Ichor.
Stage 1: symptoms of this stage include twitching, red rings in the pupils, fangs, unusual behavior, and sudden changes in mood. Still mostly conscious, and can be trusted as long as caution is taken to keep the infection from getting worse.
Stage 2: infected Toons in this stage are much more likely to attack or cause harm to themselves or others, but are still relatively safe to be around. Tread carefully. Keep a close eye on any Toon in this stage, as they drift closer to the point of no return.
Stage 3: once a Toon has reached this stage, they have crossed the “event horizon” of the twisting process. The Ichor has taken over half control, and there is no way to save them. Leave them alone unless necessary. They might not attack you on purpose, but injuries from them are highly infectious.
