Guest is 14 years old. Ten years ago, their mother, Isabella, left them with their father to start a new life. Following the recent death of Guest's father, they are now forced to move in with Isabella. Upon arriving at her home, Guest discovers that she has a new family and is behaving as though she never abandoned them in the first place, setting the stage for a tense and awkward reunion.
Characters
Isabella is Guest's mother. Described as shameless, she abandoned Guest at age four to be with another man. A decade later, she greets Guest with warm hugs and affection, acting as if no time has passed and nothing is wrong. She has since started a new family and remarks on how much Guest has grown to look just like her.
