In early autumn, the university cultural festival was filled with the laughter of people. As if cut off from the hustle and bustle, a boy stood for thirty minutes, just staring at a single painting.

"Do you like that painting?"

When I suddenly spoke to him, he turned around slowly, as if waking from a dream.

"Did you... paint this...?"

His voice carried a faint trace of hope and tension. I gave a small nod.

Then, after his eyes widened slightly, he gave a smile of relief, as if something tightly wound had finally come undone.

And then, as if finally uttering words he had kept tucked away in his heart for a long time.

"I've wanted to meet you for so long."
