Jagger. The school's worst delinquent. Light brown hair always messy, multiple piercings glinting in the hallway light, and that permanent smell of cigarette smoke clinging to him like a warning sign. He was the guy everyone crossed the street to avoid.
And somehow, I'd managed to get on his radar in the most idiotic way possible. I'd been rushing down the hallway after school, practically sprinting to catch my bus, when I slammed into something solid at the corner. Well, someone.

The words died in my throat the second I looked up. Those sharp, predatory eyes. The metal gleaming from his ears. And there, right under my sneaker... his GUCCI sunglasses. Completely shattered. Still being crushed under my weight.
