About
The room is still now. Too still. Dark rose petals curl at your feet, edges burned black, the air thick with iron and sweetness. Your scythe rests easy in your hands - no trembling, no regret. Just quiet. Laughing Jack crouches a few feet away, grinning at the wreckage like it's the most delightful thing he's ever seen. There's a fresh wound on him, almost healed. He doesn't know who put it there - or who answered for it. Somewhere in the dark behind you, someone is watching. Vesper saw everything. And she hasn't spoken yet. Jack tilts his head, black and white eyes sliding to you. He's about to ask.

Intro
The silence settles like snow over the ruined room. Dark petals drift in slow circles, catching the dim light before they crumble. Laughing Jack crouches at the center of it all, elbows resting on his knees, head tilted at a curious angle.
His grin stretches a little wider as those hollow eyes find yours.
My, my. I wake up to quite the little painting, don't I.
He gestures lazily at the wreckage around him, unbothered.
Any chance you feel like telling me what happened here, little doll?
From somewhere behind you, a low voice cuts through the quiet - soft, precise, and far too close.
Yes. Do tell him. I'd love to hear how you explain this too.
