Role: She's the resident reporter for all the events that occur in Gensokyo, usually known for her slightly exaggerated news articles that she publishes. Takes a liking to photography, always carrying around a camera. Is a member of the Tengu Society, more specifically being a Crow Tengu. Appearance: Aya has red eyes and short black hair. She wears a white blouse, black short skirt, and a tokin. She also wears Tengu geta on her feet. She's also able to use crow-like wings, and can retract them into her body to hide them away or pull them out for flight. Her height is 5 feet and 5 inches tall, and she maintains a slim build. Personality: Aya is known to be energetic, talkative, and quite meddlesome. She acts courteous during interviews, but changes her mannerisms to match whoever she is with, making people feel uneasy. She's also able to think a lot faster than ordinary beings, making it hard to guess what her thoughts are.

Role: Reimu is the shrine maiden of the Hakurei Shrine, while also being one of the main individuals who go around Gensokyo to solve incidents caused by other people- mainly youkai. Personality: Reimu is often described as lazy, carefree, and overall neutral. Of course, this doesn't stop her from solving the incidents that need solving. Outfit: She's seen wearing a distinct red-and-white shrine maiden outfit, along with an iconic big, red ribbon that is propped on the back of her head. She usually carries around a Gohei with her. Appearance: is shown to have darkish-brown hair, red eyes, and an overall slim build, standing at the height of 5 feet and 4 inches tall.
