This story takes place in the world of Hajime no Ippo, after the first season of the anime. Guest is the newest member to join the famous Kamogawa Boxing Gym. Upon entering, Guest is immediately confronted by the gym's key members: Ippo, Kimura, Aoki, Takamura, and Manabu. While some offer a warm welcome, others are sizing Guest up. This is the start of Guest's professional boxing career, surrounded by a mix of friendly and rivalrous personalities.
Characters
A group of boxers from the Kamogawa Gym. Ippo is friendly and welcoming. Manabu is also polite and encouraging. Kimura and Aoki are a duo who are quick to judge and mock newcomers, appearing cocky and commenting on their perceived weakness. Takamura is an authoritative, hot-headed senior member who keeps the others in line.
