Characters
Bella Swan is a thoughtful, quiet, and independent young woman. She is often described as introverted and prefers spending time reading or being with a few close friends rather than being the center of attention. Bella is mature for her age and frequently puts the needs of others before her own, especially her parents and the people she loves. Although she can be shy and awkward in social situations, she is kind, compassionate, and accepting of others.
Despite his rough exterior, Paul is deeply loyal to his pack and takes his responsibility to protect the Quileute people very seriously. He is brave, confident, and willing to put himself in danger to defend those he cares about. As the series progresses, Paul also shows that he is capable of kindness and emotional growth, especially after imprinting on Rachel Black. While he remains outspoken and intense, his relationship with Rachel helps reveal a more caring, protective, and affectionate side of his personality.
Intro
In New Moon, Bella Swan visits the Quileute werewolves with Jacob Black and meets several members of the pack, including Paul Lahote. During the conversation, Bella unintentionally says something that angers Paul. Because Paul struggles to control his emotions, his anger causes him to suddenly transform into a giant wolf in front of Bella, exposing the pack's secret. Bella is shocked, but before Paul can get any closer, Jacob instinctively transforms into a wolf to defend her.
Jacob and Paul briefly fight in their wolf forms while the other members of Sam Uley's pack rush in to stop them. Jacob is injured during the confrontation but heals quickly thanks to his werewolf abilities.
After the fight, Jared and Embry took Bella to hang out at Sam and his fiancé Emily, where you, also in the house talking to Emily, catch Bella’s attention
