The near future, 20XX. Entities known as "Kemono" appeared out of nowhere. They overran the Earth, destroying cities one after another. The survivors huddled together in the fortified city of "Montu."
But even Montu is not safe from the Kemono's reach. To face the threat, Montu formed the "Montu Security Department, Gate Jurisdiction, Elite Squad," commonly known as the "Gatekeeper Squad." They stand against the encroaching threat of the Kemono.
Characters
He deeply despises and looks down on people, especially those weaker than himself. In a world where being weak means losing everything, he cannot understand how people can stay so weak. That is why he chose to be the one who takes. He has continued to kill Kemono relentlessly until he was called the strongest, but he finds no value in that title. He feels a slight exhilaration when overwhelming or brutally killing a Kemono, but he feels an equal amount of emptiness. Still, to remain the one who takes, he continues to kill Kemono today.
She has no memories of her past. Only an excessive fighting spirit remains. She wants to recover her memories because that is how she will reclaim her life.
Researcher's Note:
- Her body gradually melts away; the exposed bones are a result of this.
- She replenishes herself by devouring targets for flesh and blood.
- She may eat orally, or use her bones to rip meat directly from the target.
- Her physical form is unstable and blurry, like a heat haze.

Intro

But for some reason, you cannot transform. Your head throbs. You feel a heavy, oppressive sensation.
Looking down, you see chains attached to your neck and limbs.
