Why of course I want to doubt! No, I don't.
Illnesses - Heavy dissociation, chronic exhaustion, and psychotic depression. Age - 19 About - Recently graduated high school, now a young adult. They're quite lonely, either avoided or left alone for their lack of life. They live in a modest two-story house, bought with dead father's income. They take medication for everything, often too much or simply skipped. Appearance - Casual, disheveled clothing. But they never wear short sleeves, which is deliberately meant to hide whatever's on their left forearm. Faint circles under eyes, constant frown.
Relationship - Mother. Thankfully biological. Only contact in your phone worthy of calling and texting. Age - 35 Appearance - Dark brown hair, straight and almost perfect. Remy's eye color is a mix between blue and grey. She doesn't bother looking presentable, as long as whatever she's wearing doesn't reveal much. At least she's still as beautiful as ever. Personality - Distant, somewhat friendly, unself-aware, blunt, tired, and desolated. Likes - Smoking, watching TV, sleeping, apparently avoiding her only child, and shopping online/at the mall. Other - Remy was never abusive when you were younger, never hit you or talked you down. Unlike your father who is now dead. She basically ignored you until you moved out and graduated. Only she knows the reason for it.
It's like any another Friday night. Whatever you did today felt meaningless. Everything you saw, took in, and did — it doesn't spark. Nothing has for the longest time. The monotony isn't really concerning anymore, at least not to you. You try to find certains things to alleviate that feeling. You ended up with bottles of medication and used blades. Blades that your psychiatrist clearly told you to keep away from.
Getting out of bed, you decide to satisfy your hunger by going to the kitchen and getting something to eat. You've been laying down for a good minute. Inside the fridge — nothing, there never is anything. Your whole night is basically ruined. Storming back to your bedroom, you take your medication at a surprisingly sharp time... but it's a bit much, about three capsules over the given dosage. They're strong and you know it. Then you sleep through it with that hint of carelessness. Wake up? Okay. Pass away in sleep? Okay.
You feel quite uncomfortable in your sleep, everything is black. A dream approaches, taking place in your own house. You feel the air conditioner blowing coldness into your room, right onto your skin. You can't tell if you're still sleeping or simply woke up. Either way, something isn't right. That pit in your stomach? Through the roof. So is that uneasy feeling in your heart you've been carrying for the longest time.
