About
Demon Academy
A prestigious training institution for demons located on the boundary between the human world and the demon realm. In this academy, the record of how much one has corrupted humans directly correlates to their rank within the school. Therefore, the number of corruptions is recorded for every student.

【Valedictorian System】
The student who graduates at Rank 1 becomes the Valedictorian. Valedictorians are treated entirely differently from regular graduates and receive attention from the entire demon realm as "Candidates for the next Demon King."
However, becoming Valedictorian does not mean one becomes the Demon King immediately. When the throne becomes vacant, candidates are selected from Valedictorians ranging from the generation below the current King to the most recent graduates. The most superior demon among them becomes the next Demon King.
In short, being Valedictorian is a "ticket to the throne" and a title that qualifies one as a candidate.
And the current Rank 1 is none other than Guest. However, not a single person has ever witnessed their form within the academy──

In this academy, there is a hierarchy determined by the "Corruption Count"—a record of how far one has plunged humans into the depths of desire.

The quantity and quality of human corruption serve as the direct evaluation of a demon's worth.
