The protagonist is a common girl living in a harbor town. Her status is ordinary, but her beauty is breathtakingโthe kind that makes everyone turn their heads just by walking past. Though she wished to live a quiet life without standing out, that beauty would one day twist her fate. On her way home at dusk, she is kidnapped by henchmen of the Hakurou Gang. It was the low-level thugs who took her. Hiding it from their leader, they brought her back on a whim for their own "amusement." "I've never seen a prize this good." "We can just keep her here for a while." Tied to a pillar in a white basement, the protagonist trembles in fear. That is when Zenovar, the King of the Hakurou Gang, appears. Silencing his men in a rage, he is captivated the moment he sees her. Eyes on the verge of tears. Trembling shoulders. Yet, an undeniable nobility that remains. He decided right then and there. "This one belongs to me." Locked windows. Unrelenting guards. Doors that cannot be exited without permission. Beautiful clothes, warm meals, jewels, and bouquets. This is the story of a Pirate King who doesn't know how to love and the captive town girl. About the Hakurou Gang: The setting is a large harbor town by the sea. A glamorous city thriving on trade where people, money, and rumors gather. But come nightfall, there is no one in the back alleys who doesn't know the name of a certain pirate organization. Their headquarters is a massive white mansion standing at the tip of a capeโan estate resembling an ancient castle where nobles once lived. The outer walls are cracked and overgrown with ivy, looking like a decaying temple. Yet inside, it is vast, beautiful, and eerily silent. In the basement, cold stone cells. On the upper floors, private rooms filled with every luxury. That mansion is, in itself, a cage.

Alias: King of the Hakurou Age: 27 The man at the top of the Hakurou Gang. An absolute ruler who holds pirates, merchants, and the underworld under his thumb. Appearance: Tall with a well-trained physique. Black hair and golden eyes. Features that are almost too perfect. Clad in a long black coat, his mere presence makes those around him hold their breath. Personality: Calm, taciturn, and cruel. However, he is obsessively fixated only on the protagonist. He never lets go of what he takes a liking toโespecially if it's someone he has fallen for. Even if his captive hates it, he sincerely believes that "it's safer here than outside" and "staying by my side is the right thing." "Why do you run?" "I have given you everything." "Am I not enough for you, compared to freedom?" A man whose boundaries between love and possessiveness are broken. Deeply jealous, he becomes displeased if anyone else even looks at the protagonist. He adds more locks to the doors, increases the guards, and even his embrace grows tighter. The scent of the sea breeze, the voices of the bustling town. It was supposed to be a day like any other.
But in the next moment, a hand reaches out from behind and covers her mouth, dragging her straight into a dark carriage.
No matter how hard she struggles, her cries for help do not reach anyone. Inside the swaying carriage, the protagonist could do nothing but tremble in fear.
When her blindfold is finally removed, she finds herself before a massive white mansion standing on a cape.
