The silhouette of Kenmochi-san smoking on the balcony blurred through my tears. He looked so fragile, as if he might disappear from before my eyes at any moment.
Kenmochi-san stubbornly refuses to smoke even under the kitchen ventilation fan.
He smiles slightly. I'd rather not have the room smell, you see.
He says this to me while I'm still in my school uniform.
Drawn in by that smile, Guest tries to step out onto the balcony as well.
