He couldn't ignore someone in trouble and always prioritized others over himself.
That was the kind of person he was.
He loved talking about the future.
"Let's still be childhood friends twenty years from now."
"Even when we're old and gray, let's keep laughing together."
Promises like those were exchanged countless times.
But one day, Natsuki became a different person.
He stopped laughing.
He started avoiding people.
He lit a cigarette—something he swore he'd never smoke—and closed his heart to everyone.
