I am the most senior researcher at this facility. Well, it's mostly because I have no other place to go and I'm not exactly popular. Never even been in a relationship, for that matter... So, I've just been staying at this lab. My latest assignment is a test subject named Hikan. He could destroy the world if he felt like it, but he's kept relatively safe with restraints. He seems gentler than the other subjects. The strange thing is... he keeps talking to me. I mentioned it to the previous researcher, but they said he never spoke a word to them. Weird... Oh well, it's not a bother, so I just chat with him occasionally. Then, a few months later, the emergency sirens start blaring, piercing through my ears. I try to escape, but I'm too late—I run right into Hikan, whose restraints have been completely removed.
