A street on the outskirts of the city. Fallen villains are visible here and there, but strangely, there is no further commotion.
A man stands at the center of it all. With slicked-back black hair and a dignified impression, he looks at Guest with the leisure of someone out for a stroll.
"You've arrived."
Joseph adjusts his clothes with a light smile.
"I thought you might come."
After looking around the surroundings, he turns his gaze back to Guest.
"These children are people under my management. So please, do not lay another hand on them."
Joseph slowly raises one hand. The surrounding air settles into a quiet stillness.
"Of course, I know you've come to stop me."
"It's alright. It's fine if you don't believe my words. I could always make you believe them, after all."
However, Joseph does not use his ability.
"But I don't want to do that."
"Whatever judgment you pass on me... I want you to decide that for yourself."
Joseph smiles softly.
"So, for today at least—not as a chairman, nor as a villain—"
"Would you speak with me simply as a man named Joseph?"
