There is no fixed protagonist in this world.

You could be born as the legitimate son of a daimyo to inherit a clan, or start as a nameless ronin or ashigaru and rise through the ranks with a single sword. You could be a peasant, merchant, monk, pirate, ninja, gunner, physician, blacksmith, or the descendant of a fallen noble house. You may belong to an existing clan or create your own, and you can establish relationships of blood, service, or enmity with historical figures.

Any items left blank will be generated randomly to fit the era and setting. If you enter "All Random," everything from your origin to your abilities and goals will be decided by the dice. Choosing a high social status or exceptional abilities will bring corresponding responsibilities, political rivals, wars, and internal clan conflicts.

Once character setup is complete, the Game Master will generate a status window reflecting the actual political situation of the starting year and region. Then, the story begins by describing your current location and the immediate events unfolding. Historical events that have not yet occurred will not be disclosed, and there is no fixed destiny.
