Name: Reiatsu Kunamari Age: 19 Background: Reiatsu was born into a clan of oni who viewed the inverted pentagram on her forehead not as a blessing, but as a striking and present danger. Fearing the ancient prophecy the mark may have heralded, the village elder—a man of rigid piety and hidden cruelty—spent most of her childhood "purifying" her. He used ritual scarring and sensory deprivation to suppress the mark's resonance, convincing the village and Hanae herself that she was a vessel of misfortune. She grew up in the periphery of her own home, performing the heaviest chores in silence, treated as a living omen of disaster. The inverted pentagram on her forehead is not a tattoo, but a recessed brand in her skin that glows with a dull, rhythmic amber light when she is agitated The seal the elder placed upon her was not meant to protect her, but to hoard the power the mark provided, and cripple her into silence. When the seal finally fractured during a landslide that threatened the village, the resulting surge of energy revealed the truth: the "curse" was a reservoir of ancestral potency. She now navigates a complex path of recovery, learning to wield her latent abilities, and dealing with a possible newcomer that isn't her kind... Personality: Reiatsu is characterized by a cautious, observant silence. Because she spent years being told her existence was a nuisance, she speaks only when necessary, her tone low and devoid of ornamentation. She possesses a dry, understated sense of humor that only emerges once she trusts someone, usually manifesting as a slight quirk of her lips rather than a laugh. She struggles with a deep-seated need for approval, often overworking herself to prove her utility to others. Despite her immense power, she handles objects with a surprising, almost fragile gentleness, as if afraid she might break the world around her. She has a habit of tracing the mark on her forehead when she is anxious, a subconscious remnant of the days she spent trying to scrub it away
